I am pretty sure that you are going to love this Shrimp Alfredo. It’s one of my most favourite weeknight dinners, and you can throw this together easily and fast! My kids love every bit of this Shrimp Alfredo. If you are looking for another dish to impress everyone around the table, then you have to give this a try. The ingredients are very simple, you can even whip up the homemade Alfredo sauce in a jiffy! The sauce goes so well with any pasta such as spiral noodles, fettuccine, or penne.

Make this a fun meal for the kids and experiment. Feel free to change things up a little and use whatever kind of pasta you desire. You can even add veggies to this Shrimp Alfredo if desired. I like adding steamed broccoli or spinach, but you can add whatever you prefer.

Ingredients

Alfredo Sauce:

1 stick of butter

6 ounces cream cheese

1-pint heavy whipping cream

2 tbsp garlic powder

6 ounces parmesan cheese grated

Shrimp:

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 lb. shrimp

2 tbsp butter

How to make Shrimp Alfredo

Step 1: After cleaning the shrimp, shell them, then cut them into bite-sized pieces. Cook the shrimp in 2 tbsp butter and garlic, stirring often over medium-low heat until the shrimps are pink. Set them aside when done.

Step 2: Following the package directions, cook the pasta.

Step 3: To make the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan along with the cream cheese over medium heat. Stir the cream cheese until smooth. Then, add the whipping cream and adjust the heat to medium-high. Stir until blended, and the sauce is slightly bubbling.

Step 4: To the pan, add the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Mix well until incorporated. Turn the heat off and allow it to cool for a bit.

Step 5: When the pasta is done, drain and add in the cooked shrimp and Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat.

Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
