This one-pan wonder is perfect on its own or a hoagie bun. Packed with flavour, this Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers is an easy, quick, and extra amazing lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Wine Mixture:

1 c. Trapiche Wine red

1/4 c. good quality balsamic vinegar

1/4 c. oil

Sheet pan:

2 packages of Aidell’s Cajun Sausages slice into rounds

1 green pepper sliced thinly

1 red pepper sliced thinly

1 yellow pepper sliced thinly

1 orange pepper sliced thinly

1 sweet onion sliced thinly

2 shallots sliced thinly

1/4 c. olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers

Wine Mixture:

Step 1: Combine the wine, vinegar, and olive oil in a measuring cup and set aside. Remember that this will be poured over the sausage and peppers halfway through the cooking process.

Sheet pan:

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.

Step 2: With parchment paper, line a rimmed cookie sheet.

Step 3: Randomly slice the sausages and toss them on the sheet pan.

Step 4: Slice the peppers, then toss them as well on the sheet pan with the sausages.

Step 5: Now, toss in the sliced onion and shallots to the sheet pan.

Step 6: To taste, evenly sprinkle salt and pepper into the pan.

Step 7: Evenly drizzle the olive oil on top of the ingredients.

Step 8: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.

Step 9: Take the sheet pan out of the oven. Stir the wine mixture, then pour it over the sausage and peppers.

Step 10: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes more, stirring once or two during the process.

Step 11: Once the wine mixture begins to thicken and the ingredients are perfectly browned, it is done. Take the sheet pan out of the oven and serve.
