If you are looking for a healthy, flavorful, and super delicious side dish, this is a must! Packed with kielbasa sausage, tender baby creamer potatoes, green beans, well-seasoned, and perfectly baked. Pair this with any meal for a filling weeknight meal.

INGREDIENTS

¼ c. butter

⅛ c. vegetable oil

1½ pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced ¼-inch thick

2 15-ounces cans of green beans, drained

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

1 c. onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

¼ c. water

1 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

How to make Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Using a nonstick spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Wash and cut the creamer potatoes in half, then place the pieces in a sealable gallon size baggie.

Step 3: To the baggie with the creamer potatoes, add the oil, seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Seal the baggie and shake to coat the potatoes.

Step 4: Add the sausage and water to a large frying pan. Cook over medium-high heat for a few minutes until the sausages have browned and most of the water has evaporated.

Step 5: When done, set the sausage aside and allow it to cool.

Step 6: Once the sausage is cool enough, add them to the baggie.

Step 7: In a frying pan, melt the butter. Once melted, add the onions and garlic to the pan and cook until the onions are clear. Remove from the pan and allow it to cool for a couple of minutes before adding to the baggie. Shake to mix.

Step 8: To the baggie, add the green beans and shake well to mix.

Step 9: Into the prepared baking dish, empty the baggie contents. Tent the dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake the casserole for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Step 10: When done, take the casserole out of the oven and serve. Enjoy!
