Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 40 mins | Servings: 6

This is a simple side dish that pairs well with just about anything. A complete meal by itself with meat, veggies, and potatoes. A super scrumptious casserole that even your picky eaters will enjoy, incredibly easy to throw together, and excellent all year round!

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced 1/4-inch thick

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

2 15-ounces cans of green beans, drained

1/8 c. vegetable oil

1/4 c. butter

1 c. onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 c. water

How to make Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. And using non-stick cooking spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Into a sealable gallon size baggie, place the washed and sliced in half creamer potatoes. Add the oil, seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Shake to coat the potatoes.

Step 3: Add the sausage to a large frying pan along with the water. Cook the sausages over medium-high heat until brown and most of the water has evaporated. When done, keep the sausage aside to cool before adding it to the baggie.

Step 4: In a frying pan, melt the butter. Once melted, add the onions and garlic to the pan and cook until the onions are translucent. When done, set the onions aside. When cool enough, add them to the baggie. Shake to combine.

Step 5: Now, add the green beans to the baggie and shake again to incorporate. Then, into the prepared baking dish, pour the contents of the baggie. Using foil, tent the dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Step 6: Serve immediately when done. Enjoy!
