Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 40 mins | Servings: 6

This all-in-one dish is a meal by itself with meat, veggies, and potatoes but perfect as a delicious side dish, too! Perfectly seasoned, hearty, scrumptious Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole that pairs so well with turkey, ham, and prime rib. Plus, you can easily make this in a slow cooker as well. Just cook the sausage with onions and garlic first. Toss the potatoes in vegetable or olive oil and seasoning, then transfer to the pot along with the green beans and the sausage mixture when done cooking. Stir and set to cook for 4 hours on high.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced 1/4-inch thick

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

2 15-ounces cans of green beans, drained

1/8 c. vegetable oil

1/4 c. butter

1 c. onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 c. water

How to make Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. And using a non-stick spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: After washing the creamer potatoes, cut them in half and place them in a sealable gallon-sized baggie. Add oil to the bag along with the seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Shake well to coat the potatoes.

Step 3: Add the sausage and water to a large frying pan and cook over medium-high heat until most of the water has evaporated and the sausages have browned. Take the sausage from the pan and allow it to cool. Then, place in the baggie once cool enough to handle.

Step 4: In a frying pan, melt the butter. Add the onions and garlic once the butter has melted and cook until the onions are translucent. Remove from the pan, and once cool enough, add the onions and garlic to the baggie. Shake well to mix.

Step 5: Now, add the green beans to the baggie. Shake well and transfer everything to the prepared baking dish. Tent with foil before placing into the preheated oven to bake for about 40 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Step 6: When done, remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
