Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 40 mins | Servings: 6

My favourite side dish, Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole is a pleasing dish that is perfect for holidays, gatherings, and all year round. A complete meal in one dish with meat, veggies, and potatoes. Deliciously satisfying!

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced 1/4-inch thick

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

2 15 ounces cans of green beans, drained

1/8 c. vegetable oil

1/4 c. butter

1 c. onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 c. water

How to make Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.

Step 2: With non-stick spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Wash and slice the creamer potatoes in half. Place the pieces in a sealable gallon size baggie.

Step 4: Into the baggie, add the oil, seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Then, shake well until the potatoes are coated.

Step 5: Add the sausage to a large frying pan. Add in the water and cook the sausages until brown and most of the water has evaporated over medium-high heat.

Step 6: Set the cooked sausage aside, then add them into the baggie once cool enough.

Step 7: In a frying pan, melt the butter. Once melted, add the onions and garlic to the pan. Saute until the onions are translucent.

Step 8: Let the onions and garlic cool for a couple of minutes. Add them to the baggie when cool enough, then shake to mix.

Step 9: Finally, add the green beans to the baggie. Shake, then transfer everything into the prepared baking dish.

Step 10: Tent using foil and place in the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 40 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Step 11: Once done, remove the dish carefully from the oven.

Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
