Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 40 mins | Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins | Yield: 6 Servings

Talk about the best comfort food ever! This recipe is to die for so make sure to give it a try. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pound sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced 1/4″ thick

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

2 15 ounces cans green beans, drained

1/8 c vegetable oil

1/4 c butter

1 c onions, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 c water

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: Slice the washed creamer potatoes and transfer them into a resealable bag.

Step 4: Add the seasonings, red pepper flakes, and oil. Seal the bag and shake until the potatoes are well coated.

Step 5: Place a large frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 6: Add the sausage and water. Cook for a few minutes until the sausages turn brown.

Step 7: Remove the sausages from the frying pan place them on a clean plate to cool.

Step 8: Put the cooled sausages into the bag with the potatoes.

Step 9: In the same pan, add butter and allow it to melt.

Step 10: Add the garlic and onion. Sauté for about a minute or until translucent and aromatic.

Step 11: Remove the pan from the heat and allow the onion and garlic to cool.

Step 12: Transfer the cooled garlic and onion into the bag and shake until well combined with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 13: Add the green beans and shake until well combined.

Step 14: Transfer everything into the greased baking dish.

Step 15: Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.

Step 16: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes or until done.

Step 17: Remove from the oven.

Step 18: Serve and enjoy!
