PREP TIME: 30 MINS | COOK TIME: 40 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 1 HR 10 MINS | SERVINGS: 8

I love a good side dish like this sausage green bean potato casserole. It pairs so well with just about anything, and I can serve this any time of the year! This is also great as a full meal as this has already meat and veggies that are seasoned perfectly!

INGREDIENTS

¼ c. butter

2 pounds baby creamer potatoes, washed, sliced in half

1½ pounds sausage kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced ¼-inch thick

3 cloves garlic, minced

⅛ c. vegetable oil

¼ c. water

1 c. onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama® seasoning

1 teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 15-ounces cans of green beans, drained

How to make Sausage Green Bean Potato Casserole

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Using a nonstick spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: After washing the creamer potatoes, slice them in half and place the pieces in a sealable gallon size baggie.

Step 3: To the baggie, add the oil, seasonings, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Seal and shake to coat the potatoes.

Step 4: Add the sausage and water to a large frying pan. Cook over medium-high heat until most of the liquid has evaporated, and the sausages have browned.

Step 5: Take the sausage from the pan and let them cool. Add them to the baggie once the sausage is cool enough to handle.

Step 6: In a frying pan, melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the onions and garlic to the pan and cook until the onions are clear.

Step 7: Allow the onions and garlic to cool before adding them to the baggie. Seal the baggie again and shake to mix.

Step 8: Now, add the green beans to the baggie and shake to mix everything.

Step 9: Into the prepared baking dish, empty the contents of the baggie. Tent with foil and place in the preheated oven to bake for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes have softened.

Step 10: Serve immediately when done. Enjoy!
