This has been my favourite for years now! I like it with garlic toast or bread for breakfast or with a simple side salad for dinner. This Sausage and Potato Skillet is one of the easiest and fastest meals you can whip up, making this excellent for busy or lazy days. Made with three main ingredients and ready in a flash, this amazing dish will quickly sweep you off your feet!
I have not tried this, but a lot of my friends said they also tossed in some carrots and garlic salt to this dish, and it turned out amazing, too! I’ll sure try this soon! If desired, you can even add more paprika depending on your preference. So, if you are like me who’s always on the lookout for a nice and tasty quick meal, this Sausage and Potato Skillet is a must and for keeps!

1 package sausage (13-16 ounces) sliced
5 medium potatoes, about 2 lbs peeled and diced
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1/4 tsp paprika
salt and pepper, to taste
How to make Sausage and Potato Skillet
Step 1: Peel and chop the onions and sausage. To a medium skillet with 1 to 2 tbsp olive oil, add the onions and sausage. Cook until the onions have softened and the sausage is starting to brown.
Step 2: In the meantime, peel and chop the potatoes. Add them to the skillet and gently stir to mix with the onions and sausage. Adjust the heat to medium-low, put the lid on, and continue to cook for another 20 minutes or until the potatoes ate done. To prevent burning, make sure to stir the potato mixture about 3 to 4 times while cooking. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika when the potatoes are done.
Step 3: Serve this Sausage and Potato Skillet with ketchup and green salsa or with a simple side salad. Enjoy!
