I have never tried roasted cabbage steaks before this recipe, even heard of it. I didn’t know at first if this is going to be good or my family will like it because I have the pickiest eaters! Ingredients
3 tbsp olive oil
2 small cabbage heads
1 tbsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt or to taste
2 tsp paprika
HOW TO MAKE ROASTED CABBAGE STEAKS
Step 1: Remove the stems of the cabbage heads, then slice the cabbage in two, then slice again in two. At this point, you should have 4 discs.
Step 2: Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet. Arrange the cabbage into the baking sheet, leaving a little space between each cabbage.
Step 3: On each cabbage steak, brush the olive oil, coating them completely.
Step 4: Sprinkle the cabbage with paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Do the same steps to the other side of the cabbage steaks. Then, sprinkle a pinch of pepper flakes on top of each cabbage steak.
Step 5: Place the baking sheet in a preheated 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until done.
Step 6: Serve the roasted cabbage steaks right away when done. Enjoy!
