Layers of well-seasoned meat mixture, frozen ravioli, and tons of cheese. A delightful easy lasagna with gooey cheese that melts in your mouth.

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion diced
24 oz marinara
3 cloves garlic minced
2 c. ricotta cheese
1 large Egg
¼ c. Parmesan cheese
¼ c. chopped parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
25 oz. frozen cheese ravioli
2 c. shredded mozzarella
minced parsley for garnish
HOW TO MAKE RAVIOLI LASAGNA
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: With non-stick spray, grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Over medium heat, heat a large skillet. Once hot, add the ground beef and onion. Cook the beef and crumble until brown. When done, discard the grease.
Step 4: Add in the marinara sauce and garlic. Allow simmering for about 5 minutes over low heat, stirring frequently.
Step 5: In a small bowl, combine the ricotta, egg, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 6: Into the prepared baking dish, spread 1/3 of the meat mixture across the bottom.
Step 7: With a single layer of ravioli, top the meat mixture followed by half of the ricotta mixture, then 1/3 of the sauce. Do the same layers, ending in marinara sauce.
Step 8: Sprinkle with shredded cheese and tightly cover with foil. Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 9: Take the lasagna out of the oven and sprinkle with minced parsley. Allow the lasagna to set for at least 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
NOTES:
Substitute ricotta with cottage cheese if desired.
For this recipe, you can use a variety of frozen ravioli.
