INGREDIENTS
2 lbs beef stew meat
1/3 c flour
1-2 tbsp oil
4 medium potatoes washed and cubed (peeled or with skin on)
3 c carrots baby carrots or diced carrots, either way
1 c celery diced (optional)
2 tsp garlic minced
1 can diced tomatoes
3 c beef broth
2 tbsp ranch seasoning
How to make Ranch Crockpot Beef Stew
Step 1: In a ziplock bag, add the meat and flour. Seal and shake to coat.
Step 2: In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Once the oil is hot, add and cook the coated meat and garlic until all sides are brown.
Step 4: Meanwhile, ready the vegetables. Wash, peel or leave the skin on of the carrots, chop, and toss the pieces into the slow cooker.
Step 5: Whisk a cup of broth with the remaining flour and add to the meat in the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring every after a few minutes until thick.
Step 6: Then, add the meat mixture into the crockpot.
Step 7: Add in the crockpot the rest of the ingredients and stir.
Step 8: Cook for about 6 to 5 hours on low, covered.
