Cold days are almost over but we are never going to let go of our favourite comfort food Crock Pot Beef Stew. One of my go-to recipes is super easy and quick to prep with easily available ingredients. Packed with so much flavour, tender beef, and veggies. Slowly cooked in a crockpot to ensure a better flavour, melt-in-your-mouth meat, and expect to come home to a house smelling of this incredible beef stew.

We all have our favourite recipe to prep on chilly days. Mine is this simple recipe. It’s a complete, super comforting, and scrumptious meal that my entire family loves! Our winter will never be complete without this amazing dish on the table. And to make this in a crockpot eliminates almost all the work rather than making this on a stovetop. Plus, the flavour is even better!

Ingredients

2.5 pounds stew meat

(1) 16 ounces frozen green beans

3 whole carrots (peeled and sliced)

3 russet potatoes peeled and diced (peeled and diced into large pieces)

1/2 onion (chopped)

2 bay leaves

(1) 14 ounces can of crushed tomatoes

1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce

2 c. water

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Pepper

How to make Quick and Easy Crockpot Beef Stew

Step 1: Into the bottom of a 6-quart crockpot, place the stew meat and potatoes. On top, add the green beans, onions, and carrots. Then, pour in the crushed tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and water. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Cover with the lid, set the timer to 7 to 8 hours, and cook on low. Or 3 1/2 to 4 hours on high.

Step 3: When done cooking, allow the stew to sit for a couple of minutes, then serve. Enjoy!

Note:

Serve this Beef Stew with some delicious homemade cornbread for a more filling meal that your entire family will enjoy.
