Quick And Easy Artichoke Spinach Pinwheels Christmas Tree

My kids are crazy over this pinwheels Christmas tree! Looks so pretty and tastes superb, you’ll be surprised that you can throw this together in a snap using nutritious ingredients! Christmas is just around the corner, and I am sure to impress my guests with these delicious pinwheels!

I immediately fell in love with this Artichoke Spinach Pinwheels Christmas tree. They are so good, easy, and quick to throw together. It’s the perfect holiday appetizer that I am sure to make all year round!

Ingredients

1-2 garlic cloves minced

8 ounces croissant dough or pizza dough homemade or store-bought

1/4 c. red pepper finely chopped

1/3 c. ricotta cheese

2 medium artichoke hearts finely chopped

1-2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

salt and pepper

1 1/2 c. spinach finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes optional

How to make Quick And Easy Artichoke Spinach Pinwheels Christmas Tree

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.

Step 2: Combine the spinach, red pepper, artichoke hearts, ricotta cheese, minced garlic, salt, chilli flakes, and pepper in a medium bowl until well mixed.

Step 3: Into about 12 x 8-inch thin rectangular sheet, roll the dough.

Step 4: On the dough sheet, evenly spread the ricotta mixture. To form swirls, roll the sheet up, then slice the roll into 1/2 – 3/4-inch slices.

Step 5: On the lined baking sheet, arrange the slices and form them into a shape of a Christmas tree.

Step 6: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes until done.

Step 7: Remove from the oven when done and sprinkle the pinwheels with some finely grated Parmesan cheese. Serve right away. Enjoy!

Note:

If using homemade pizza dough instead of pre-made croissant dough, keep in mind that the baking time might slightly vary.
