1 pound boneless pork chops (4 pork chops)
¾ teaspoon salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¾ teaspoon ground paprika
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon canola oil (or olive oil)
Garlic Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temp
¼ teaspoon salt
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh cilantro or parsley, finely chopped
How to make Pork Chops Recipe
Step 1: Combine the salt, pepper, and paprika in a small bowl.
Step 2: With a meat mallet, lightly pound the pork chops, then season on each side.
Step 3: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 340 degrees F.
Step 4: Heat a tbsp oil and a tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5: Once the oil is hot and the butter has melted, add the pork chops. Sear on each side for approximately 3 to 4 minutes until brown and crispy.
Step 6: In the meantime, whisk the butter, garlic, and fresh cilantro. Spread this on top of the pork chops.
Step 7: Cover and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the meat is tender.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and pour the butter over the chops.
Step 9: If desired, garnish with fresh cilantro and serve. Enjoy!
NOTE:
You can store the cooked pork chops in the fridge for up to 3 days.
