4 bone-in pork chops
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 (6 ounces) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 (10.75 ounces) can golden mushroom soup (such as Campbell’s®)
2 tbsp water
How to make Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy
Step 1: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 3: Season with garlic and salt and black pepper the pork chops.
Step 4: Place them into the hot oil and cook each side for about 8 minutes or until they turn brown.
Step 5: Remove from the skillet onto a clean plate.
Step 6: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp of oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 7: Add the mushrooms and saute for a few minutes until they turn soft.
Step 8: Scrape the bottom to get the brown bits.
Step 9: Add the mushroom soup and water, then stir until well mixed.
Step 10: Put the pork chops back to the skillet over the sauce.
Step 11: Simmer for about 15 minutes or until done. Make sure to spoon the sauce over the pork chops from time to time.
Step 12: When done, remove from the heat and serve. Enjoy!
