Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy

These moist and delicious pork chops are perfect over hot rice or mashed potatoes. And the creamy mushroom gravy takes this dish to the next level! This recipe sure is one heck of a keeper and a must!

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

4 bone-in pork chops

1 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1 (6 ounces) package sliced fresh mushrooms

1 (10.75 ounces) can golden mushroom soup (such as Campbell’s®)

2 tbsp water

How to make Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy

Step 1: Put a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 2: Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and allow it to become hot.

Step 3: Season the pork chops with black pepper and garlic salt.

Step 4: Add the seasoned pork chops into the hot oil and fry each side for 5 to 8 minutes or until brown.

Step 5: Remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them on a clean plate.

Step 6: Add 1 more tablespoon of olive oil into the skillet and allow it to become hot.

Step 7: Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until translucent. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the brown bits.

Step 8: Add water and the golden mushroom soup. Stir until well mixed.

Step 9: Put the pork chops back into the skillet as well as its juice. Stir until well combined with the sauce.

Step 10: Allow the pork chops to simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes or until done.

Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
