HOW TO MAKE PHILLY CHEESESTEAK STROMBOLI
Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat it to 425 degrees F.
Step 2: Place the beef in a large skillet along with the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until the meat has browned and crumbly. Then, drain the excess grease. To the skillet with the beef mixture, add the Italian seasoning and season with salt & pepper. Mix well.
Step 3: Unroll the dough on a large greased rimmed baking sheet and press it into a triangle. Over the dough, sprinkle the cheese, then layer the beef mixture. Make sure to leave around 1-inch space on the border. Over the beef mixture, sprinkle a cup of cheese, then drizzle with 1/4 c. dressing.
Step 4: Starting on the long side, roll the dough and pinch the ends to seal. Lay it on the baking sheet, seam-side down. Create a few slits on the dough with 1-inch intervals. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 to 25 minutes or until the stromboli is deep golden brown. Before slicing, let it rest for at least 10 minutes.
Step 5: Meanwhile, place the side dish ingredients in a big bowl and toss. Serve it alongside the Philly Cheesesteak Stromboli along with the remaining dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
