PHILLY CHEESE STEAK CHEESY BREAD

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Yield: 12 Servings

Ingredients:

8 oz Ribeye Steak thinly sliced

salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp canola oil

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp butter

1 green bell pepper sliced

1 yellow onion sliced

4 oz of mushrooms sliced

1 loaf French bread cut in half lengthwise

1/4 c mayonnaise

8 oz Provolone cheese sliced

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.

Step 4: Put the ribeye into the skillet and sear one side for about 2 minutes.

Step 5: Add in the Worcestershire sauce and give it a nice toss until the steak is well coated.

Step 6: Remove the steak from the skillet.

Step 7: In the same skillet, add the butter and allow it to melt.

Step 8: Add the onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

Step 9: Sauté the veggies for about 2 minutes or until translucent. Remove from the heat.

Step 10: Meanwhile, prepare the bread by spreading mayonnaise on the other halves.

Step 11: Top the mayonnaise with slices of Provolone cheese.

Step 12: Top each bread with the steak and veggies.

Step 13: Top the steak and veggies with the rest of the cheese.

Step 14: Place them inside the oven and cook for 10 minutes or until slightly toasted.

Step 15: Remove from the oven and slice.

Step 16: Serve and enjoy!
