Summer is almost here, and I cannot wait to throw the next big parties! This Philly is one of my favourite and go-to whenever I am hosting a gathering. It’s super convenient, I can prep this in no time, and its amazing cheesesteak flavour is to die for!

Ingredients

16 oz. Ribeye Steak thinly sliced

salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp canola oil

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp butter

1 medium green bell pepper sliced

1 medium yellow onion sliced

4 oz. mushrooms sliced

1 loaf French bread cut in half lengthwise

1/4 c. mayonnaise

10-12 slices Provolone cheese

HOW TO MAKE PHILLY CHEESESTEAK CHEESY BREAD

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the steak to the skillet and sear for about 2 minutes per side. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and toss to coat the meat. Then, remove the steak from the pan.

Step 3: In the same pan, add the butter, bell peppers, onion, and mushroom. To taste, season with salt and pepper. Cook the veggies for approximately 2 minutes until tender.

Step 4: On both sides of the bread, spread the mayonnaise. Place a layer of Provolone cheese, then the steak and veggies. Top with the rest of the cheese. Then, put it in the preheated oven on the middle rack and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes until browned.

Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and slice the bread into 2-inch thick slices. Enjoy right away.
