I have always loved potatoes. My kids do as well. At home, we can never leave without potatoes in a week. It’s a staple at home. I have a long list of recipes with potatoes, and one of my favourites is these perfectly seasoned and roasted potatoes. We all know that potatoes are naturally gluten-free and it is versatile. You can make it into anything from mashed potatoes and baked potatoes.

Feel free to modify these already simple ingredients. You can skip the garlic or onion, or leave the spices out and just increase the cumin and paprika. No matter how you prep this potato recipe, it’s a guarantee to turn out a hit!
Ingredients
¼ c. olive oil
6 large Yukon Gold Potatoes
1 tsp onion powder
1 ½ tsp paprika
1 ¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
⅓ – ½ tsp chilli powder
How to make Perfectly Seasoned Roasted Potatoes
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 450 degrees.
Step 2: Using parchment paper, line a rimmed baking sheet.
Step 3: After peeling the potatoes, dice them and place the pieces in a large bowl, and set them aside.
Step 4: Place the olive oil and spices in a smaller bowl. Mix well until combined. Pour this over the potatoes and toss to coat.
Step 5: On the prepared baking sheet, spread the potatoes. Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake the potatoes for about 35 minutes, flipping them every 10 minutes.
Step 6: Remove the potatoes from the oven once tender and crispy. If needed, sprinkle the potatoes with additional salt. Enjoy!
