You can never go wrong with this delicious Pecan Pie. Packed with nuts, a dash of orange zest, and perfectly sweet. This iconic treat is a favourite every Thanksgiving and the best service on any occasion.

A great addition to your long list of holiday must-have. Pretty sure everyone will go crazy over this simple, not too sweet, popular pecan pie. Complete every occasion with this fantastic pecan pie and happily watch everyone enjoy every bite.

Ingredients

1/2 c butter

1 c of sugar

4 Eggs, beaten

1 c light corn syrup

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 c pecan halves

1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

How to make Pecan Pie – Sarah’s Favorite

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees.

Step 2: Prepare a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

Step 3: In a medium saucepan. Mix the butter, sugar, and corn syrup and heat over low heat. Stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Take the pan out of the heat and let the mixture cool for some time.

Step 4: In a small mixing bowl, add the eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined before adding this into the syrup. Combine until incorporated.

Step 5: At the bottom of the prepared pie shell, layer the pecans and pour the syrup over. Don’t worry the pecans will float or if desired, you can add them in a decorative manner after the syrup.

Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 to 55 minutes.

Step 7: Serve this warm or cold with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Enjoy!
