If you are looking for your favourite Panda Express Chow Mien copycat. Look no more because this recipe is all you need! It is quick, easy, and completely adaptable. Chow Mein has been my family’s favourite take-out since Panda Express. I always wanted to make a copycat of their recipe, but I have no time. Not until I decided to take a vacation from my forever busy schedule. I am so glad I did because this turned out fantastic! The best part is I can throw in my favourite veggies or whatever I have on hand.

The first time I served this to my family, they failed to tell the difference. The only thing they noticed is the taste level up! From then, whenever we want to Chow Mein from Panda Express, I just cook it myself at home. If you enjoy recreating restaurant meals, you have to try this!

Ingredients

3 cloves garlic minced

2 c. cabbage shredded

1/2 c. reduced-sodium soy sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

2 tsp ginger fresh, grated

2 tbsp sesame oil

1/2 c. onion diced

sliced green onion and chopped peanuts for garnish

3 (3-oz. packs) Ramen noodles discard seasoning pack

How to make Panda Express Chow Mein Copycat

Step 1: Place the soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, ginger, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well until combined.

Step 2: Following the package directions, cook the ramen noodles. Drain well when done.

Step 3: In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onion and cabbage to the skillet. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.

Step 4: To the skillet, add the drained noodles and soy sauce mixture. Toss to coat the noodles with the sauce. Let the dish rest for approximately 2 minutes, then serve. Enjoy!
