HOW TO MAKE OVEN BARBECUE RIBS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 180 degrees C.
Step 2: Peel the tough membrane off ribs that are covering the underside/bony side of the ribs.
Step 3: Put the ribs on a baking sheet or tray lined with foil or parchment paper.
Step 4: In a bowl, place the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin, and chilli or Cayenne. Mix well, then sprinkle over the ribs and drizzle with oil.
Step 5: On the entire ribs, rub the seasoning. Tent the tray with foil and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 2 hours.
Step 6: In the last 5 minutes of cooking time, combine the sauce ingredients (barbecue sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper if using, and salt).
Step 7: Remove the cover and brush the tops of the ribs with the barbecue sauce mixture.
Step 8: Adjust the oven temperature to 460 degrees F or 240 degrees C. Bake the ribs for another 10 minutes, uncovered.
Step 9: Set the oven to broil or grill and broil the ribs for about 3 minutes over medium-high heat until a bit char and caramelized.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow the ribs to rest for at least 10 minutes to let the juices circulate again into the meat.
Step 11: Slice and serve. Enjoy!
