1 c. (or more if needed) Barbecue sauce of your choice
3-4 lbs St Louis Ribs
Spice rub:
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons paprika
1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
How to make Oven Baked St Louis Style Ribs
Step 1: In a small bowl, place the spice rub ingredients (brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper). Mix well until combined, then rub all sides of the ribs with it. Let the ribs sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the ribs to absorb the spices.
Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Position the rack in the middle.
Step 3: In aluminium foil, wrap the ribs and place them on a baking sheet. Put in the preheated oven and bake the ribs for about 2 hours or so until tender.
Step 4: Remove the foil and brush the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce and continue to bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until the sauce has warmed up and darker.
Step 5: Take the ribs from the oven and slice them into individual servings. Enjoy!
