Follow the recipe if making 2 pork chops. For 4 chops, double the recipe and for 6 chops, triple the recipe
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
How to make Oven Baked Pork Chop
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, and ketchup). For spare ribs, double the recipe for the sauce.
Pork Chops:
Step 1: In a baking dish, place the pork chops.
Step 2: Over the chops, pour half of the sauce, then tent with foil. Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, draining the liquid from the pan after.
Step 3: Pour the rest of the sauce over the pork chops and continue to bake for another 30 minutes, uncovered.
Step 4: In the last 30 minutes, flip the chops once so both sides brown evenly.
Spare ribs:
Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees.
Step 2: In a baking dish, place the ribs and pour over half of the sauce.
Step 3: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour until the spare ribs are tender, draining the liquid from the pan after.
Step 4: Over the spare ribs, pour the rest of the sauce and continue to bake for another 30 minutes, uncovered. Make sure to keep an eye on the last 30 minutes or cooking as the spare ribs brown rather quickly. To finish the baking time, turn the spare ribs on the other side.
Note:
I used 2 1/2 pounds of spare ribs. If planning to make more, adjust the sauce accordingly.
