4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2” thickness
Lowry’s Seasoning Salt
6 bacon slices
1/4 c. regular mustard
1/3 c. honey
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
2 tsp dried onion flakes
1 c. sliced fresh mushroom (or skip it if desired)
2 c. shredded Colby/Jack cheese
HOW TO MAKE OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE ALICE SPRINGS CHICKEN
Step 1: Rub the seasoning salt onto the chicken. Cover, then let the chicken sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: In the meantime, prep the bacon. Cook it in a large skillet until crisp. When done, take the skillet from the bacon and keep it aside. Make sure not to discard the bacon grease.
Step 3: In the bacon grease, saute the chicken for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side until browned. Then, in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish or pan, transfer the chicken when done cooking.
Step 4: For the Honey Mustard, whisk the mustard with honey, mayonnaise, and dried onion flakes in a small bowl. On each piece of chicken, spread some of the Honey Mustard over. Top with mushrooms crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese.
Step 5: Place inside a 350 degrees oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the chicken is completely cooked. Remove from the oven when done and serve with the rest of the Honey Mustard Sauce. Enjoy!
