Oreo Dirt Cake

Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 25 mins | Servings: 16

If you are looking for a scrumptious cake with layers of all things good, this Oreo Dirt Cake is all you need! Beds of cake, fudge, pudding, and Oreos, this dessert is a sure hit!

Ingredients

CAKE:

1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients on back of the box

PUDDING LAYER:

30 Oreos, crushed

12.8 ounces hot fudge

3.4 ounces chocolate instant pudding mix

1 3/4 c milk

TOPPING:

3.4 ounces chocolate instant pudding mix

1 3/4 c milk

8 ounces cool whip, thawed

How to make Oreo Dirt Cake

TO MAKE THE CAKE:

Step 1: As instructed on the box, prepare the cake. Bake accordingly.

Step 2: When the cake is done, take it out of the oven and cool for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3: Carefully poke holes into the cake with the back of a spoon.

Step 4: In the microwave, warm the hot fudge until you reach a thin enough consistency.

Step 5: Pour the hot fudge evenly on the cake, letting it seep through the poked holes.

Step 6: Set the cake aside to cool completely.

FOR THE PUDDING LAYER:

Step 1: Combine the chocolate pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl.

Step 2: Pour the pudding over the cooled cake before it fully sets.

Step 3: Chill the cake in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

TOPPING:

Step 1: Put the remaining pudding mix package in a medium bowl. Combine it with milk.

Step 2: Allow it to set in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3: Take the pudding and milk mixture out of the fridge. Add in the thawed cool whip and fold.

Step 4: Stir in around 3/4 crushed Oreos.

Step 5: On top of the cake, evenly spread the pudding mixture. Sprinkle with the rest of the crushed Oreos.

Step 6: Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.
