I hate wasting food, so I always find a way to use/consume them. Today, I saw a bunch of apples on my cupboard just waiting to rot. So decided to make this wonderful One Bowl Apple Cake. It’s made with only pantry ingredients and fresh apples. Prep this in less than thirty minutes, pop in the oven, and in under an hour, it’s ready! Served it warm with a big scoop of ice cream (or whipped cream if desired) on top, and the kids loved it!
If you have extra apples, it’s time to dress them up. This simple recipe is a must-try and forever to keep! I already shared this recipe with friends and family, and they were delighted by the result. You can play around with the toppings. Most of my friends said they like this cake with a simple homemade icing drizzled all over the cake. And I suggest crushed nuts, too. You can even add extra cinnamon as it pairs well with apples.
