Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 30 mins | Servings: 8

This is another easy dinner that you can whip up in under an hour using just a few simple ingredients. A fun, different way to cook ground beef. A classic recipe that always reminds me of my grandma. She used to serve this Old Fashioned Impossible Cheeseburger Pie to us whenever we visited her. I know she’ll be proud to see that I perfected her favourite.

There is so much to love about this cheeseburger pie. It’s super comforting, uses only pantry staples, is family and kid-friendly, and seriously easy to make!

Ingredients

1/2 c. Bisquick mix

1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef

1 tsp minced garlic

1/2 c. chopped white onion

1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

3 large eggs

1 c. milk

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

How to make Old Fashioned Impossible Cheeseburger Pie

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. Using a cooking spray, grease a 9-inch round deep-dish pie plate or cake pan.

Step 2: Cook the ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are clear. When done, drain the excess grease.

Step 3: To the skillet with the ground beef and onions, add the minced garlic. To taste, season with salt and pepper. Stir well until combined.

Step 4: To the bottom of the greased pie plate, spread the beef mixture, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Step 5: Place the Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs in a small bowl. Mix well until combined, then evenly pour this over the beef and cheese.

Step 6: Place the pie plate in the preheated oven and bake the cheeseburger pie for about 30 minutes or until the middle is set and the top is golden brown. To test if the pie is done, insert a knife in the middle. When the knife comes out clean, the pie is perfect!

Step 7: Remove the pie from the oven when done and serve right away. Enjoy!
