The hardest part of this recipe is probably waiting for the pie to chill but the rest are as easy as eating the whole thing! This Nutter Butter Pie is one of the tastiest and easiest desserts you can make any time with only a few simple ingredients. With perfect texture, sweet and crispy cookies, loads of peanut butter, cream cheese, and whipped cream topping, this decadent dessert is everything I want and need!

Ingredients

CRUST:

1 16-ounces package Nutter Butter bars, crushed and divided

6 tbsp butter, melted

PIE:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 1/4 c. creamy peanut butter, divided

3/4 c. granulated sugar

1 c. frozen whipped cream topping, thawed, or whipped cream (plus extra for topping)

How to make Nutter Butter Pie

Step 1: Place the cookies in a food processor or blender and pulse to mix. Alternately, you can put the cookies into a gallon zippered plastic bag, then roll them over until you have a fine crumb. Reserve half a cup of cookie crumbs and place the rest in a medium bowl. Mix with melted butter, then press the cookie crumb and butter mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch pie pan.

Step 2: Add the cream cheese, a cup of peanut butter, and sugar to a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat to combine, then fold in the frozen whipped topping or whipped cream.

Step 3: Into the pie crust, pour the filling, then spread on top a thin layer of whipped cream over. Using a rubber spatula or offset knife, smooth the whipped cream.

Step 4: In the microwave, heat the rest of the butter for approximately 30 seconds. On top of the pie, drizzle the peanut butter. If desired garnish with dollops of the whipped topping and around the edges sprinkle the cookie crumbs. Before serving, chill the pie in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
