Prep time: 6 hrs 30 mins | Inactive: 5 hrs 30 mins | Serves: 8

Sweet and crispy cookies with a distinct creamy filling are love! This Nutty Butter Pie is an amazing treat. And peanut butter, as we all know has one of the best flavours for desserts as this goes perfectly with just about any combinations!

Lovely presentation and amazing flavour, I bet a slice would not be enough.

Ingredients

CRUST:

1 16 ounces package Nutter Butter bars, crushed and divided

6 tbsp butter, melted

PIE:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 1/4 c. creamy peanut butter, divided

3/4 c. granulated sugar

1 c. frozen whipped cream topping, thawed, or whipped cream (plus extra for topping)

How to make Nutter Butter Pie

Step 1: Place the cookies in a blender or food processor. Pulse to crumble. Alternately, you can put the cookies into a gallon zippered plastic bag and roll them over until you have fine crumbs. Set aside half a cup of the cookie crumbs for later.

Step 2: Combine the remaining cookie crumbs with melted butter in a medium bowl. Into a greased 9” pie pan, press the mixture into the bottom and sides.

Step 3: Add the cream cheese, a cup of peanut butter, and sugar in a large bowl. Blend using an electric mixer. Then, fold in the frozen whipped topping or whipped cream.

Step 4: Into the pie crust, pour in the filling. On top, spread a thin layer of whipped cream and smooth it using a rubber spatula or offset knife.

Step 5: In the microwave, heat the rest of the peanut butter for at least 30 seconds.

Step 6: On top of the pie, drizzle the peanut butter. If desired, garnish the pie with dollops of whipped topping and sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs around the edges.

Step 7: Place in the fridge to set for at least 6 hours.

Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
