Peanut butter is my favourite flavour of desserts. It goes well with vanilla, cream, chocolate, or any combination you can think of. The reason why I love so much this Nutter Butter Pie. It’s made of a few simple ingredients, super easy, not fussy, and a real treat! I am happy with the result always, the presentation makes this so much irresistible, and the taste, heavenly!

Ingredients

CRUST:

1 16-ounces package Nutter Butter bars, crushed and divided

6 tbsp butter, melted

PIE:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 1/4 c creamy peanut butter, divided

3/4 c granulated sugar

1 c frozen whipped cream topping, thawed, or whipped cream (plus extra for topping)

How to make Nutter Butter Pie

Step 1: Add the cookies in a blender or food processor. Pulse to crumble. Or place the cookies in a gallon zippered plastic bag and roll until a fine crumb.

Step 2: Set aside half a cup of cookie crumbs for later use.

Step 3: Place the rest of the cookie crumbs in a medium bowl. Add in the melted butter. Mix well. Transfer this to a 9-inch pie pan and press the mixture into the bottom and sides of the pan.

Step 4: Add the cream cheese, 1 cup peanut butter, and sugar in a large bowl. Mix using an electric mixer and fold in the frozen whipped topping or whipped cream.

Step 5: Add the filling over the pie crust. Use a rubber spatula or offset knife to spread the whipped cream over the filling into a thin layer and to smooth it out.

Step 6: In the microwave, heat the rest of the peanut butter for at least 30 seconds. Drizzle this on top of the pie.

Step 7: If desired, garnish with dollops of whipped topping and sprinkle cookie crumbs around the edges.

Step 8: Before serving, place in the fridge to set for at least 6 hours.
