How to make No-Knead Skillet Cheese Bread

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, mix the water and yeast.

Step 2: To the yeast mixture, add 1 cup of flour along with salt. Mix well using a wooden spoon until blended. Then, stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and cheese.

Step 3: Add the rest of the flour, a cup at a time, stirring well every after each addition until well blended.

Step 4: Using plastic wrap, cover the bowl and allow it to rise for about an hour.

Step 5: Into an 8-inch cast-iron skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil. Swirl the pan to coat the bottom and sides.

Step 6: Transfer the dough to the skillet using your lightly floured hands and form the dough into a round disk. Tent with a towel and allow the dough to stand for about 30 minutes.

Step 7: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.

Step 8: On top of the dough, drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle with salt and parsley. Using a knife, score the top of the loaf.

Step 9: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. When done, take the pan out of the oven and quickly turn the loaf out onto a cooling rack.

Step 10: Slice the bread and serve. Enjoy!
