This is an easy dinner that is perfect for busy days and the entire family! Super simple and insanely delicious Mongolian Ground Beef.

If you need a quick fix with just a few simple ingredients, this is a must. The ingredients are mostly pantry essentials so you’ll find no reason not to love this. A flavorful dish that is perfect over steamed rice. This sure will leave you full and satisfied. And not only that this Mongolian Ground Beef looks appetizing but it’s crazy delicious!

INGREDIENTS

1 pound ground beef

8 cloves garlic, chopped

2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine

1/8 black pepper

1/4 c. soy sauce

1/4 c. sugar

1/4 c. chicken stock or water

1 to 2 tablespoons sambal, chilli garlic sauce to your taste

1 teaspoon corn starch

2 tablespoons cooking oil

2 bundles of green onions, cut into 2-inches long pieces

Sesame seeds

How to make Mongolian Ground Beef

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic, Shaoxing wine, and black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2: Add the soy sauce, sugar, chicken stock, sambal, and corn starch in a small mixing bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3: Add the oil and the beef mixture in a heated large wok or skillet over high heat. Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, breaking the beef down until there is no moisture left and the beef is crispy.

Step 4: So the corn starch won’t sink on the bottom, give the sauce mixture a final mix. Then, around the wok, pour the sauce and continue to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring well until the sauce has thickened.

Step 5: Before turning the heat off, toss in the green onions. If desired, garnish with sesame seeds, then serve with warm cooked rice. Enjoy!
