Moist Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

Prep time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 30 mins | Serves: 8-10

Extra moist, rich cake with creamy peanut butter frosting. This decadent dessert swept me off my feet. Not fussy, super simple to make, and comes out perfect always! A real treat that everyone will love. Satisfy your sweet cravings with this moist chocolate peanut butter cake.

Ingredients

CAKE:

2 c granulated sugar

2 c flour

3/4 c baking cocoa

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 c hot coffee

1 tsp baking soda

1 c milk

1/2 c canola oil

2 Eggs

2 tsp vanilla

ICING:

1/2 c butter, melted (1 stick)

1 c peanut butter

1/2 tsp vanilla

4 c confectioners’ sugar

4-5 tbsp milk

How to make Moist Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray.

Step 3: Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt in a large mixing bowl until incorporated.

Step 4: Mix the baking soda and hot coffee in a different mixing bowl until well combined.

Step 5: Add the coffee mixture into the flour mixture and stir until well mixed.

Step 6: Add in the eggs pour in the milk followed by vanilla and oil. Mix well until incorporated.

Step 7: Place the batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.

Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.

Step 9: Once done, remove from the oven and onto a wire rack. Allow the cake to cool.

Step 10: Add the peanut butter, melted butter, milk, and vanilla sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Mix until incorporated.

Step 11: Generously spread the frosting over the entire cake.
