Fall is coming in hot, and I am already excited for potlucks and game days! I am glad I’ve found this Mississippi Bread Dip in time. I know it’ll be a hit paired with crackers and bread. It’s amazing, addictive, and incredibly easy to whip up!

Everyone will go crazy over this delicious Mississippi Bread Dip. Made this dip directly into the loaf, how cool is that? Some refer to this as the sin dip as it’s loaded with all the goodness; sour cream, cream cheese, ham, and cheddar cheese. Every inch of this dip gives us a bit of heaven!

INGREDIENTS

1 loaf of French bread

1 c. ham, diced or sliced

1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, room temperature

2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 (16 ounces) package sour cream, room temperature

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp preferred hot sauce

green onions, garnish

crackers, optional

How to make Mississippi Bread Dip

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Cut the centre out of the French loaf using a serrated bread knife, leaving enough bread on the bottom.

Step 3: Place the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Mix well until smooth. Add the hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic and onions powders, then stir to mix.

Step 4: Add the cheddar cheese and diced ham. Fold to incorporate, then pour the mixture into a bread bowl. Wrap the bowl using aluminium foil.

Step 5: Place the bowl in the preheated oven and bake the dip for about 35 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6: When done, take the bowl off the oven. Garnish with some diced green onions and serve the Mississippi Bread Dip with crackers or bread. Enjoy!
