Ingredients
3 ounces package real bacon bits or 1/2 c. cooked bacon, crumbled
8 ounces cream cheese, whipped
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. of mayonnaise
1/2 c. slivered almonds
4 (6”) large flour tortillas
5 green onions chopped
How to make Million Dollar Tortilla Roll-Ups
Step 1: Place all the ingredients except the tortillas in a large bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Step 2: On a plate, lay a tortilla and spread the almond, bacon, and cheese mixture in an even layer up to the edges. I used about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mixture.
Step 3: Tightly roll the tortilla, then plate it on a plate. Do the same until you have used all the ingredients. Then, chill the roll-ups in the fridge for about 2 hours.
Step 4: After 2 hours, take the tortillas from the fridge and slice each rolled tortilla off the ends. Set aside.
Step 5: Serve the tortilla roll-ups garnished with the rest of the sliced green onions. Enjoy!
Notes:
Before slicing the tortillas let them come to room temperature, so they are nice and flexible.
Adjust the portion of the bacon and cheese mixture if using smaller tortillas.
If short in time, you can slice the tortillas right away. Yet, I highly recommend chilling them first in the fridge for best results.
