Melt In Your Mouth Toffee

Now, this toffee recipe is all I need! Pretty quick to throw together, easy, and the best there is. Addictive toffee that just melts in your mouth. Irresistible you’ll find it hard to stop at one. You’ll crave the buttery taste again and again.

This is a perfect treat for any occasion. I love to design these cookies with colourful sprinkles for the Holidays. Or if I want more, I crushed some nuts and sprinkle them on top. Last Christmas, I made a lot and place them in cute mini boxes, gave them as a token to family, friends, and colleagues.

Ingredients

1 lb butter

1 c. white sugar

1 c. packed brown sugar

1 c. chopped walnuts

2 c. semisweet chocolate chips

How to make Melt In Your Mouth Toffee

Step 1: Place a heavy saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 2: Add the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Stir and cook until boiling, then remove from the heat.

Step 3: Add the chocolate chips and nuts into a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread them evenly.

Step 4: Pour the sugar mixture over and spread it.

Step 5: Allow it to cool at room temperature.

Step 6: Break into small pieces.

Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
