MELT IN YOUR MOUTH CHICKEN

This is a massive dish with juicy chicken covered in cheese, seasoning, and mayonnaise or yoghurt mixture. A melt in your mouth chicken dish that will leave you wanting more! A simple dish that requires only a few easy-to-find ingredients. Ready in less than an hour with minimal work, this recipe is beyond any doubt a must!

Chicken is a staple at home. My kids love chicken more than any meat. That is why I always stash chicken in the fridge. They enjoy all kinds of chicken dishes served with their favourite side dishes. This recipe I’ve tried not long ago and it’s so easy to throw together with incredible results. A friend pointed me to her favourite website with amazing easy and quick recipes perfect for moms like us. I enjoy all the recipes I came about but to this recipe, I gravitate the most. Knowing my kids, I know that instant that they will love this. From then, this quickly became one of our favourite rotations. I usually serve this with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, corn, and steamed rice.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 c. mayonnaise (for a healthier option, use plain Greek yoghurt in place of the mayo)

1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon seasoning salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

HOW TO MAKE MELT IN YOUR MOUTH CHICKEN

Step 1: Place the mayonnaise or yoghurt, cheese, and the seasonings in a bowl. Mix well until incorporated.

Step 2: On top of each chicken breast, spread the mixture.

Step 3: Into a baking dish, place the chicken, pop in a preheated 375 degrees oven, and bake for approximately 45 minutes until completely cooked.

Step 4: When done, remove from the oven and serve warm. Enjoy!
