Ingredients
4 c. mashed potatoes prepared as you usually make mashed potatoes
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
¼ c. yellow onion minced
¼ c. green onion minced
1 Egg beaten
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
How to make Mashed Potato Patties
Step 1: Combine the ingredients (mashed potatoes, milk, bread crumbs, yellow onion, green onion, egg, dried parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder) in a large bowl until incorporated.
Step 2: Shape the potato mixture into small patties using your hands to make about 14 to 16 patties.
Step 3: With olive oil, lightly coat a skillet. Heat over medium-high heat, then adds in the potato patties. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes per side until brown.
Step 4: Enjoy these delicious mashed potato patties as is or serve with ketchup or sour cream.
