MARINATED BEEF KABOBS + AWESOME BEEF MARINADE RECIPE

PREP TIME: 8 hours | COOK TIME: 10 minutes | TOTAL TIME: 8 hours 10 minutes

This easy to customize kabobs are super fun to make. Marinated to have that flavorful, tender, and juicy bite that everyone will love and enjoy! Make your weekend grilling fun with these economic and customizable kabobs.

INGREDIENTS

KABOBS:

5 lb Sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 bell pepper

1 red onion

1 lb button mushrooms

Wooden or skewers

MARINADE:

½ c olive oil

⅓ c soy sauce

¼ c lemon juice

¼ c Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon salt

Dash of hot sauce

HOW TO MAKE MARINATED BEEF KABOBS + AWESOME BEEF MARINADE

Step 1: In a gallon-sized Ziploc bag, place the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, pepper, salt, and hot sauce. Shake to mix.

Step 2: Add the beef chunks and seal the Ziploc bag. If needed, double the bag to prevent leaks. Making sure to remove the air before sealing.

Step 3: Marinade the beef for up to 24 hours.

Step 4: Soak the wood skewer if using in a bowl of water before grilling for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 5: Wash, remove the stems and cut the vegetables into an inch wide pieces.

Step 6: Gently wash the mushrooms using a damp cloth and remove around 3/4 of the stem.

Step 7: Onto the skewer, thread the beef and veggies. To secure, insert the tips or links.

Step 8: Grill for about 8 to 10 minutes over high heat. Turn the skewer every after 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 9: Once done, remove the kebobs from the grill and onto a plate.

Note:

For the juices to re-distribute within the beef, the plate should be covered loosely in aluminium foil.
