Magic Crispy Baked Shrimp

Prep time: 5 mins | Cook time: 25 mins | Serves: 4

Buttery, lemony, crispy shrimp with a garlicky taste that everybody is crazy about. Incredibly easy and quick to throw together with a couple of ingredients that are easy to find. This Crispy Baked Shrimp has been one of my favourites and go-to seafood meal that magically disappears on the table after just a few seconds of serving. A real winner and a huge hit always!

The truth is you don’t need to measure the ingredients. You can use more or fewer butter or lemon depending on your preference. You can even add in extra garlic if you love it so much. Freaking delicious, crispy, and the perfect dinner for the entire family and entertaining guests.

Ingredients

SHRIMP:

1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 c. dry white wine

4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted and divided

Juice from one lemon

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

TOPPING:

3/4 c. panko breadcrumbs

1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, finely grated

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp butter, melted

Fresh parsley, finely chopped

How to make Magic Crispy Baked Shrimp

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F.

Step 2: Into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, pour the wine and add 2 tbsp melted butter. Heat in the oven for about 10 minutes to allow the sauce to reduce.

Step 3: To a bowl, add the rest of the butter along with the garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir, then toss in the shrimp.

Step 4: Combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and 2 tbsp melted butter in a different bowl.

Step 5: Take the baking dish out of the oven. In a single layer, spread the shrimp out of the dish and sprinkle with the breadcrumb topping. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 12 minutes until opaque but still pink.

Step 6: To brown the shrimp, boil for at least 2 minutes on high. Then, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.

Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
