This Magic Crispy Baked Shrimp has been one of my go-to for years now. Whenever I need something quick and easy on the table, I always opt for this recipe. My family loves this so much that we have to have this in our favourite weekly rotation. Buttery, lemony, with incredible garlic flavour, these crispy shrimp is a huge hit always! So good, these magically disappear in minutes!

No to fussy preparation, no to ingredients that you can hardly pronounce, just plain simple! You can also adjust this recipe to your preference. You can use fewer or more lemons or maybe some extra garlic. It’s all up to you! The flavour and texture will blow you away for sure!

Ingredients

SHRIMP:

1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 c. dry white wine

4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted and divided

Juice from one lemon

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

TOPPING:

3/4 c. panko breadcrumbs

1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, finely grated

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp butter, melted

Fresh parsley, finely chopped

How to make Magic Crispy Baked Shrimp

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F.

Step 2: Into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, pour the wine and 2 tbsp melted butter. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the sauce has reduced.

Step 3: To a bowl, add the rest of the butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add this to the shrimp and toss to coat.

Step 4: Combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and 2 tbsp melted butter in another bowl.

Step 5: Take the baking dish from the oven. In a single layer, spread the shrimp out over the dish and sprinkle with the breadcrumb topping. Continue to bake for another 12 minutes until the shrimp are opaque.

Step 6: To further brown the dish, broil for about 2 minutes on high.

Step 7: Garnish with some fresh parsley and serve. Enjoy!
