by Rebecca December 22, 2020

Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 35 mins | Total time: 45 mins

This decadent treat is a mix of coconut, chocolate chips, nuts, and a graham cracker base. A delicious, gooey dessert that is pure magic!

Ingredients

1/2 c unsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs

1 c sweetened or unsweetened flaked or shredded coconut

1 c semisweet chocolate chips

1 c chopped walnuts or pecans

1 – 14 oz can sweeten condensed milk

How to make Magic Bars

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: In the middle of the oven, position the rack.

Step 3: Use nonstick cooking spray to lightly grease a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan.

Step 4: Pour the melted butter evenly on the bottom of the prepared pan.

Step 5: Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and top with chocolate chips.

Step 6: Sprinkle the chocolate chips with nuts.

Step 7: Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk on top. DO NOT MIX.

Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven. bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown, and a toothpick inserted in the centre of the bar comes out clean.

Step 9: Take the magic bar out of the oven and onto a wire rack. Allow to cool, then slice into squares.

Step 10: Place in the fridge to store.

Notes:

You can use or mix and match any varieties of nuts and chips that you love, like Butterscotch chips or White chocolate chips. Make sure to add them right in. Pecans, walnuts, and cashews are a better kind because they are softer and fattier.
