I have a very special treat for you all. Simple, easy, and quick to make but sure is impressive. My kids adored these cookie bars with loads of M&Ms. As for the candy colour, you can use just specific colours depending on the occasion or use them all! Try adding in some chopped nuts, too.
This is our favourite and go-to treat for all occasions. Made this on Christmas, Valentines, Easter, St. Patrick, even when I just feel like treating the kids which is always! Made with only a few simple ingredients, I am pretty sure you’ll be able to whip this up in no time! These chewy and thick cookie bars are like a dream come true for all kids. Their favourites in one treat – peanut butter and M&Ms.

How to make M & M Cookie Bars!
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Using aluminium foil, line an 8 x 8-inches baking pan and oil with a nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3: Place the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add in the egg, peanut butter, and vanilla extract, mixing until incorporated. Beat in the flour until a thick dough forms and fold in a cup of M&Ms.
Step 4: Into the prepared baking pan, press the cookie dough. On top, press the remaining M&ms. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from the oven when done and allow to cool before lifting the aluminium foil to take the bars out.
