2 pounds Ground beef
2 teaspoons sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 large Bell peppers (sliced into thin strips; I used red, yellow, and green)
1 large onion (cut in half, sliced into thin slices)
1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
4 ounces cream cheese
1/4 c chicken bone broth
6 slices (4 ounces) Provolone cheese
HOW TO MAKE LOW CARB KETO PHILLY CHEESESTEAK CASSEROLE
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 177 degrees C.
Step 2: In a large saute pan, cook the beef over medium-high heat. Use a spatula to break it up and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Step 3: Cook the beef for about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring often, until browned and completely cooked.
Step 4: Add into the pan the bell peppers and onions and season with Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Saute until the vegetables are soft, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 5: Stir in the cream cheese and broth until smooth and melted.
Step 6: Place the mixture into an 8 x 11 1/2-inches large stoneware baking dish and add the provolone slices over, slightly overlapping.
Step 7: Place inside the preheated and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
