1 (32 ounces) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 (16 ounces) container sour cream
8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided, or more to taste
How to make Loaded Crack Potatoes
Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
Step 2: Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray or grease with butter.
Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, sour cream, bacon, ranch mix, and a cup of cheddar cheese. Mix until incorporated.
Step 4: Evenly spread the hash brown mixture into the prepared baking pan, then, cover with aluminum foil.
Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 6: After 45 minutes, remove from the oven and take off the cover. Evenly sprinkle across the potatoes the remaining cheddar cheese.
Step 7: Put it back in the oven and continue baking for about 15 minutes or until the top is bubbly and the edges are lightly browned.
