Ingredients
2.5 lbs Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Italian Seasoning
½ tsp Paprika
How to make Lemon Pepper Baked Chicken Thighs
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.
Step 2: With foil, line a large baking sheet. Set aside.
Step 3: Using paper towels, pat the chicken dry and transfer the chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk the olive oil and lemon juice.
Step 5: Over both sides of the chicken, evenly drizzle the olive oil mixture. Then, rub to coat.
Step 6: Place the lemon pepper seasoning, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a different small bowl. Stir to combine.
Step 7: Evenly sprinkle the entire chicken with the spices.
Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 35 to 45 minutes until the internal temperature of the chicken reads 165 degrees.
NOTE:
For this recipe, I always use bone-in, skin-on, chicken thighs. I normally get about 6 to 8 pieces depending on the package. But if using chicken breasts, it will be around 4 large pieces.
