Ingredients
2.5 lbs Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Italian Seasoning
½ tsp Paprika
How to make Lemon Pepper Baked Chicken Thighs
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.
Step 2: With foil, line a large baking sheet, then set aside.
Step 3: Pat dry the chicken using paper towels.
Step 4: To the prepared baking sheet, place the chicken.
Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk the olive oil and lemon juice.
Step 6: Over both sides of the chicken, evenly drizzle the olive oil mixture and rub to coat well.
Step 7: Mix the lemon pepper seasoning, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a different small bowl. And evenly sprinkle this over the chicken.
Step 8: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reads 165 degrees.
Notes:
For this recipe, I prefer bone-in, skin-on, chicken thighs. Depending on the package, you’ll get about 6 to 8 pieces. Or 4 large pieces, if using chicken breasts.
